Certificate in environmental management now in place

Procudan has now achieved environmental management certification to the ISO 14001 standard.

Procudan now has ISO 14001 certification. This is a standard for effective environmental management that requires us to work according to various binding environmental goals.

Achieving this certification requires a consideration of the extensive machinery that companies like Procudan have to keep running as a consequence of having an international network of suppliers, customers and logistics partners.

A team of employees from Procudan’s various departments has therefore been hard at work since May 2022 gathering data and mapping the environmental impact through our entire network to ensure the best possible readiness for the certification process.

A team effort across the various departments

It was a real team effort, says Quality and Environment Manager Mette Guldborg.

- We were both happy and proud when Procudan received our new ISO 14001 certificate today. This is the result of a strong team effort on the part of all of our employees across the entire organisation, as well as a good collaboration with Force Technology and Karin Hansen, our consultant from FoodEfficiency.

Sustainability and environmental considerations are given priority throughout Procudan’s supply chain. You can find out more about our ESG initiatives by following the link here.
